About the race
The Spooky Sprint event is a Halloween themed running event held at Friends of Estabrook Park, 4400 N Estabrook Pkwy, Milwaukee, WI 53211. The event offers multiple in-person distances and a virtual option.
Race options include:
- 50 m Kids Dash
- 1 mile untimed fun mile
- 3.1 miles 5K
- 6.2 miles 10K
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- Virtual race option
- Volunteer then Run participant option
- Running Buddy Half Marathon with prior approval required
Several distances include event swag such as a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The kid's dash is untimed for ages 10 and under and includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specially crafted medal; a child may also run the kid's dash on race day without receiving the swag. The half marathon, 10K, 5K, and 1 mile entries list these same swag items.
Event services include chip timing with live results and awards, free photos, and treats at the finish line. The "Volunteer then Run" option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup and allows them to run any distance afterward. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K lists 12 and under at $17. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by midnight on Thursday two Thursdays before race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
