Event Overview
The Saukville Scare is a Halloween-themed 5K run and walk. It takes place in Grady Park in Saukville, Wisconsin.
Event Details
Proceeds from the event go to the Saukville Elementary School Parent's Association (SPA). The funds are used to reduce fees for school activities and fulfill teacher requests to enhance learning.
Participants are invited to wear costumes. Cash prizes are awarded to the overall male and female winners, as well as to the top male and female in each age division. After the race, there is a costume contest with prizes.
A bounce house and DJ will be present. A pumpkin pancake breakfast is served after the event.
Other Activities
A separate Kid's Trick or Treat Fun Walk is hosted by the SPA. It is open to children 12 and under, who are encouraged to bring a costume and a trick-or-treat bag. This walk features four trick-or-treat stops along a shortened route. All proceeds from this walk also go to the SPA.
Registration and Schedule
Check-in opens at Grady Park's shelter on the morning of the event. The main 5K starts after check-in. The kids' fun walk starts earlier. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
