Event overview
The Saukville Scare is a Halloween-themed running and walking event held on October 17, 2026, at Grady Park, 110 W. Dekora Street, Saukville, WI 53080. The event supports Saukville Elementary School's Parent's Association; proceeds are used to reduce parents' fees for school activities and to fulfill teachers' monthly requests to enhance student learning. Participants are invited to wear costumes. Cash prizes are awarded to overall male and female winners and to top male and female finishers in each age division. A costume contest with prizes takes place after the race. On-site activities include a bounce house, a DJ, and a pumpkin pancake breakfast following the event.

The Kid's Trick or Treat Fun Walk is open to children 12 and under; proceeds from that walk also go to the Parent's Association. Children are asked to bring a trick-or-treat bag and a costume. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

- 5K Run / Walk: $20; price increases after October 5, 2026.
- 5K Run / Walk 12 & Under: free; registration closes October 5, 2026.
- Kid's Trick or Treat Fun Walk: $5; registration ends October 16, 2026.
