The half marathon course is USATF-certified (Certification # WI22011DM) and uses streets and paved paths, including sections on the Oak Leaf Trail. Races are chip-timed and include both chip-timed and fun run categories. Course time limits are listed for each distance: half marathon 3 hours 30 minutes, 5K 1 hour 20 minutes.
Finish line amenities and event gear include a 2026 finisher mug for every participant, a choice of a classic t-shirt or a premium thin-tec 1/4 zip, hot apple cider and caramel apples at the finish, and a half marathon finisher medal. A 5K finisher medal is available as an add-on.
Logistics noted by the organizer include limited on-site parking with shuttle service from the UWM UPark Capitol/Humboldt parking lot when on-site parking is full. Packet mailing is available for a fee. Water stations provide water on all courses and sports drink on the half marathon. A gear check is available on site.
