Event information
The Time Travel Half-Marathon (and 5k/10k) - Indianapolis takes place on January 17, 2026, at the Indianapolis Zoo parking lot, 1200 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46222. The event group includes the following course options:
- Kid's Dash (ages 10 and under)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon (double out-and-back course)
- Virtual Event (run any day, any location)
- Volunteer then Run
Kid's Dash, the 1 Mile, and the Virtual Event are untimed and do not qualify for age-group awards. Course maps are provided for the 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon; courses are subject to change.
Registration, awards and policies
Registration prices range from $17 to $79. Youth pricing for 12 and under for the 5k/10k is listed at $17. Standard inclusions for 5k/10k/Half Marathon registration are a designer shirt, custom bib, custom finisher medal, chip timing with live results, free photos, and finish-line snacks. The 1 Mile and Kid's Dash registrations include a shirt, bib, and finisher medal; the 1 Mile and Kid's Dash are untimed.
Age-group awards for 5k/10k/Half Marathon include Male and Female Overall, Male and Female Masters (40+), and top 3 in age groups from 10 & Under through 80+. The Virtual Event registration includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and shipping; virtual packets are mailed after the race and participants may upload times and photos.
All events proceed rain, shine, snow, or cold; the organizer has a no-refund policy. Cancellation will only occur for venue requirements or hazardous icy conditions, in which case participants may be transferred to the virtual option.
