Dash by the Past : Indianapolis
Dash by the Past offers a community 5K and a 1 mile walk along North Meridian Street. The route passes previous Decorators’ Show House and Gardens homes and the thoroughfare will be closed to all traffic for the event. The course begins and ends at the Meridian Restaurant & Bar at 5694 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
Event distances include:
- 5K run for adults
- 5K run for kids ages 5 to 12
- 1 mile walk for adults
- 1 mile walk for kids ages 5 to 12
Registration details are provided for each event. Registration opens on October 7, 2026. Most event registrations close on December 30, 2026; one kids’ 1 mile walk remains open until April 10, 2027. The listed registration fee for the events is $25.00.
Each registered participant receives a t-shirt in adult or youth sizes. Awards are given to the first, second and third place male and female finishers. Children ages 0 to 4 do not need to be registered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
