Event Overview

The Easter Egg 5K is a running and walking event followed by an Easter egg hunt, held on April 4, 2026, in downtown Indianapolis at White River State Park. The main event is a 5K run/walk, and there is a separate Kids Easter Dash (80 yards) for children. Indoor waiting is available at the National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS).

Event Activities

Both the 5K and Kids Dash include an Easter egg hunt with prizes. The 5K event features a chipped-timed race, age group awards, and a finisher's medal. Registration for the 5K includes a tech t-shirt and race bib. The Kids Dash includes a finisher's medal and a race bib, with an optional t-shirt available for purchase. Activities for participants also include cupcakes, live music, and free photo opportunities with backdrops.

Egg Hunts

Multiple egg hunts are scheduled throughout the morning, categorized by age group. There are designated hunts for children participating in the dash, all-ages hunts for 5K participants, and a separate hunt for adults aged 21 and over.
