Butler Bulldog Jog
The Butler Bulldog Jog takes place on April 11, 2026, at the Butler University Health and Recreation Complex in Indianapolis. The event includes multiple race options that run through Butler's campus; maps are available from the organizer.
The event offers these distances:
- 10K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1-Mile Dawg Walk
- Virtual Race with mailed race shirts
Gathering and staging are in front of Butler HRC and Hinkle Fieldhouse. The published start line is on Sunset Avenue near Chatham Tap and the finish is on Lake Street behind Chatham Tap near the pond and bell tower. Parking is available in the Hinkle Fieldhouse parking lot.
Dogs are permitted on the 5K route but are not allowed on the 10K route through Newfields. Strollers are allowed only on the 5K course because parts of the route use a narrow towpath. An optional medal is available as an add-on. A virtual entry option exists for remote participants and includes a race shirt that can be mailed.
Charitable proceeds are split among Butler HRC student wellness and grant programs, Indy Runners' giving initiatives, and the Indianapolis Humane Society.
