The Bulldog Jog hosted by Indy Runners is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Butler University Health and Recreation Complex (HRC) in Indianapolis. Indy Runners members and Butler students and staff receive a registration discount. An optional medal is available as an add-on. Virtual participants receive race shirts that are mailed.
Course and logistics
Gathering and staging take place in front of Butler HRC and Hinkle Fieldhouse. The start is on Sunset Ave. near Chatham Tap and the finish is on Lake Street behind Chatham Tap near the pond and bell tower. Parking is available in the Hinkle Fieldhouse parking lot. The 5k and 10k routes run through Butler’s campus; the 5k is described as a flat route for faster times or family participation. Strollers are permitted on the 5k only. Friendly dogs are allowed on the 5k route but are not permitted on the 10k through Newfields.
Charitable giving and beneficiaries
Proceeds are split among Butler HRC student programs, Indy Runners giving-back initiatives including scholarship and community projects, and the Indianapolis Humane Society.
