Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k - Fort Worth
The Hometown Half Marathon & 5k/10k is a local-themed running event taking place at Trinity Park in Fort Worth, Texas. The event provides a variety of course distances to accommodate different participants, ranging from children's dashes to longer distance races. All events take place at shelter 3 of the park.
Available distances include:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k (6.2 miles)
- 5k (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile
- Kid's Dash (50 yards)
The Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k races are chip-timed with live results and awards provided for participants. Pacers are available specifically for the Half Marathon distance. The 1 Mile and Kid's Dash are untimed events. The Kid's Dash is designed for children aged 10 and under, with an option for children to participate for free if they do not require event materials.
Registered participants receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by the Thursday two weeks before the race. The event includes free professional photos and treats at the finish line. For those unable to attend in person, a virtual race option is available, allowing runners to complete their chosen distance at any location and upload their times and photos online.
