Candy Cane Course - Colorado Springs
The Candy Cane Course is a holiday-themed running event held in Colorado Springs. This family-oriented race offers multiple participation options, including structured distances and a youth-specific dash. Participants can choose between several road race distances or a virtual participation option for those unable to attend in person.
The following distances are available for participants:
- Kids Dash: A 50m untimed event for children ages 10 and under.
- 1 Mile: An untimed walk or run.
- 5k: A 3.1 mile chip-timed race.
- 10k: A 6.2 mile chip-timed race.
- 15k: A 9.3 mile chip-timed race.
Registrants for the 1 mile, 5k, 10k, and 15k distances receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. The 5k, 10k, and 15k events use chip-timing technology to provide live results and categorical awards. Participants in the Kids Dash receive a specialized youth-sized shirt, a mini bib, and a unique medal, though a free participation option without event items is available for children on race day.
The event provides free race photography for all runners. Refreshments are served at the finish line following the completion of the races.
