Turkey Trot Predict
Turkey Trot Predict is a prediction-format 5K held in Memorial Park, Colorado Springs on November 21, 2026. Participants submit an estimated finish time when they register and are started in order of their predictions so that slower predicted times begin first and faster predicted times begin later. If predictions are exact, runners would cross the finish line together.
The event uses a blind finish: after the last runner starts, the finish clock is covered so competitors cannot see elapsed time as they approach the line. This format highlights pacing and prediction rather than direct time racing.
Basic event rules include a prohibition on timing assistance such as watches or GPS wearables, a ban on headphones and earbuds so runners can hear course calls, and a restriction against pets and strollers on the course for safety and insurance reasons. A random prize drawing accepts entries of brought sweet treats.
Registration opens September 1, 2026, and closes November 20, 2026. The listed registration fee for the 5K is $5.00. The location address is Memorial Park, 250 S Union Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
