Pikes Peak Road Runners Fall Series
The Pikes Peak Road Runners Fall Series is four trail races held in different city and county parks around Colorado Springs. The courses vary from well maintained to rocky single track with exposed tree roots, and distances increase across the series. Entrants must be 15 years old or older. Race rules prohibit animals, baby joggers or strollers, earbuds or headphones, and bikes or trikes; violations lead to disqualification for insurance and safety reasons.
Distances and primary locations:
- 3.8 miles at Bear Creek Terrace
- 4.0 miles at North Monument Valley Park
- 5.5 miles at Piñon Valley Park and Ute Valley Park
- 7.4 miles at Palmer Park
Registration is online only, closes the day before each race, and there is no race day registration. Entry fees differ for club members and non-members and for the full four-race series versus single races. A Runner's Magic Scarf is included with entry.
The series is chip timed and all scoring is based on chip time. There are no awards for individual races; participants who complete all four races are eligible for overall and age group awards. Award prizes include gift cards by placement and by age group. Fall Series awards are presented at the annual membership meeting and awards dinner on November 21, 2026. The event has been held since 1979. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
