Heatwave Half Marathon - Chattanooga
The Heatwave Half Marathon - Chattanooga is a multi-distance running event held in July. The event offers a variety of course lengths to accommodate different participants, including options for individual runners and relay teams. The race environment features summer-themed highlights such as free ice cream at the finish line to assist with cooling down.
Participants can choose from several distinct events:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- Half Marathon Relay (13.1 Miles)

- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Kids Dash (50m)
The 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances are chip-timed, providing runners with live results and eligibility for awards. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed events. The Half Marathon Relay allows participants to form teams of any size, with each member registering individually. For children aged 10 and under, the Kids Dash is available, and an option exists for children to participate for free if they do not require event merchandise.
Registered participants receive a designer shirt, a custom bib, and a finisher medal. Professional photos are also provided at no additional cost. For those unable to attend the physical location in Chattanooga, a virtual race option is available for all distances.
