Heatwave Half Marathon - Chattanooga
The event takes place on July 25, 2026 at Tennessee River Park Pavilion 2, 4501 Amnicola Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37406. Multiple in-person race options are offered alongside a virtual race option with mailed packets.
Distances and formats include:
- 50 m Kids Dash (ages 10 and under)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- 5K (chip-timed)
- 10K (chip-timed)
- 13.1 Miles Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay
Race registration for most in-person distances includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The Kids Dash includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specially crafted medal; children may run the Kids Dash without swag for no fee. Youth pricing of $17 applies for participants age 12 and under for the 5K and 10K.
Chip-timing with live results and awards is provided for the 5K, 10K, half marathon, and the half-marathon relay; timed results and awards are noted in event details. Free event photos are provided. A virtual race option includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and shipping; virtual packets are mailed and participants can upload times starting on the day of the event.
Participants who register by midnight on Thursday, two Thursdays before race day are guaranteed a shirt. Free ice cream is available at the finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
