Christmas in July
Christmas in July is an evening running event in Chattanooga, TN on July 19, 2026, held at Riverpark near the Hubert Fry Center. The course and event area are decorated with twinkling lights and holiday music, and runners are encouraged to wear Santa hats and seasonal gear.
Distances offered:
- Half marathon 6 loops
- 10K 3 loops
- 5K 1.5 loops
All races follow a looped course that starts and finishes near the bathrooms by the Hubert Fry Center. Aid stations are provided approximately every 2.2 miles and will be stocked with Maurten energy gels, water, and Gatorade; bananas will be available at the finish area. Participant bib and shirt must be picked up at early packet pick-up or on race day. Early packet pick-up takes place at Fleet Feet Chattanooga and race day packet pick-up is near the start/finish at the Hubert Fry Center.
Registration is open online and race day registration may be available if space remains. Participants who wish to change their distance should notify the organizers before race day or inform race staff on race day. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group; participants must be present on race day to receive medals.
