Christmas in July - Santa Run
Christmas in July is an evening themed race event in Chattanooga, TN, held on July 19, 2026. The Riverpark and Riverpark at the Dam are decorated with twinkling lights, Christmas music, and holiday-themed decorations to create a midsummer winter wonderland. Participants often wear Santa hats and seasonal gear, and Santa swag is available.

All races follow a looped course that starts and finishes near the bathrooms by the Hubert Fry Center. The course layout uses multiple loops: the half marathon is six loops, the 10K is three loops, and the 5K is 1.5 loops. An interactive course map includes elevation details and a course video.
Aid stations are located approximately every 2.2 miles and are stocked with Maurten energy gels, water, and Gatorade. Bananas will be available at the finish line.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Fleet Feet Chattanooga and on race day near the Hubert Fry Center. Online registration is open and race day registration is available if space remains.
Participants may change their entered distance by notifying organizers before race day at packet pickup or by informing the head timer on race day before starting a new distance. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group; participants must be present on race day to receive medals.
