Location and Course
The event starts and finishes at Shelter #1 in the Tennessee River Park on the Tennessee Riverwalk in Chattanooga. The course uses a paved river trail and is described as flat. The 5K and 10K are single out-and-back routes, while the half marathon is a double loop of the course. Water stations are available approximately every 1.5 miles. A minimum pace of 16 minutes per mile is required.
Participant Information
All athletes who finish receive a custom finisher medal and a race-themed shirt. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, top three masters (40+), grand masters (50+), and senior masters (60+). Awards are also presented to the top three in standard five-year age groups, starting from 10 & under up to 80+.
Packet pickup is held on race morning, starting one hour before the race begins. The RaceJoy mobile app is offered for live GPS tracking and progress alerts for participants and spectators.
Registration Details
Registration occurs in several phases with different fees. Prices increase after certain dates. Participants registered by July 16 are guaranteed a shirt in their requested size.
