Event Overview
The Christmas 5K/10K/Half Marathon in July - Chattanooga takes place at the Tennessee Riverwalk Trail Shelter #1. This summer event adopts a festive holiday theme, encouraging participants to complete their miles in a spirited atmosphere. The courses are situated along the river, providing a flat and fast surface for athletes.

Course Details
Participants run on a paved river trail. Self-serve water stations are positioned approximately every 1.5 miles throughout the course. There is a pace requirement for all distances, necessitating that participants maintain a minimum pace of 16 minutes per mile. The flat terrain of the Riverwalk facilitates consistent timing for both runners and walkers.
Participant Benefits and Awards
Athletes who finish their respective races receive a custom finisher medal and a race-themed shirt. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as masters, grand masters, and senior masters categories. Additionally, the top three finishers in five-year age groups, ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over, receive recognition.
