Events
The Tiki Trot offers five events:
- Tiki Trot 5k Run-Walk (open to all ages).
- Beer Mile (restricted to participants aged 21 and over).
- Combined 5k & Beer Mile (restricted to participants aged 21 and over).
- Tiki Tikes (0.50 mile fun run for participants aged 12 and under).
- Food Tiki-tizer Mile (open to ages 11-99).
Location and Course
The event takes place at Bowman Business Park in Williamsport, Maryland. All races start and finish in the parking area between Cushwa Brewing Co and Interchange Tiki Bar & Brewing.
The 5K is a road race on paved roads around the breweries, described as lightly rolling, and briefly uses Governor Lane Blvd.
The Beer Mile and Tiki-tizer Mile each consist of four laps on a flat, paved quarter-mile course around the business park property.
Event Details
For the Beer Mile, participants drink a 12 oz beer before each lap. The beer is provided by Interchange Tiki Bar & Brewing and is included in the registration. A designated driver is required for Beer Mile participants.
For the Tiki-tizer Mile, participants eat a slider before each lap. The sliders and bottled water are included in the registration.
All events are chip-timed. An after-party begins at 11:00 AM.
Registration includes a technical t-shirt (guaranteed for registrations by April 2nd, subject to availability after), a finisher award for each race, one free beverage (soda/juice for under 21, choice of soda, juice, or craft beer for 21+), and music. Post-race food and additional beverages are available for purchase.
The event does not offer refunds or deferrals, but race entry insurance can be purchased during registration. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
