Event overview

The Tiki Trot 5K, Beer Mile & Tiki-tizer Mile is scheduled for May 9, 2026 in Williamsport, MD. The event takes place at Bowman Business Park, with start and finish in the parking area between Cushwa Brewing Co and Interchange Tiki Bar & Brewing. There will be an on-site after-party and food and beverages available for purchase. Registrations made by April 2 guarantee a race technical t-shirt and size; later registrations receive shirts while supplies last. The organizer does not offer refunds or deferrals; race insurance may be purchased at registration.

5K: The course runs on paved roads around the two breweries and onto Governor Lane Blvd; the terrain is described as lightly rolling. The 5K has a 250 participant limit. Awards include top 3 overall male and female, masters (40+), and standard age-group prizes. A free team competition is offered for teams of three or more, scored by the top three finishers.

Beer Mile: The course is flat and consists of four 1/4-mile laps. Each lap begins with consumption of a 12 oz beer provided by Interchange Tiki Bar & Brewery (5.2% ABV). Entry is limited to 21 and older, ID required, and designated drivers are required. The field is limited to 50 participants. Vomiting before finishing requires one penalty lap.

Tiki-tizer Mile: This is an eating-and-running event of four laps; participants consume a slider and bottled water before each lap. It is open to ages 12 and up and has a 30 participant limit. Penalties apply for vomiting, leaving the eating zone before showing an empty mouth, dropping food, or using the bathroom during the event.

Packet pickup and inclusions: There are multiple packet pickup opportunities at Interchange Tiki Bar & Brewery and Cushwa Brewing. Beer Mile bib pickup requires ID; 5K and Tiki-tizer bibs may be picked up by another person with a photocopy of ID. Registrations include one beverage (under-21: soda/juice; 21+: soda/juice or craft beer), a race technical t-shirt (subject to registration date), finisher awards, podium awards, music, and chip timing with instant results and a results kiosk.
