St. Patrick's Day Run Fest
The St. Patrick's Day Run Fest is organized by the Washington County Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Hagerstown in support of the Washington County Community Free Clinic. The event takes place in March 2027 in Hagerstown, Maryland, at 25 W Church St.
The event program includes three running events and a downtown celebration. Distances offered:
- One Mile run/walk
- 5K run/walk
- 8K run
Registration opens September 16, 2026 and closes March 12, 2027. Entry fees are listed per event: the One Mile entry fee is $15.00; the 5K and 8K entry fees are $35.00 each.
Each participant receives an official race tee-shirt and Shamrock Party Beads. Awards are specified for the 5K and 8K: the 5K lists 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female winners plus 1st place male and female age group winners; the 8K lists 1st place male and female winners plus male and female age group winners. An after party is planned in Downtown Hagerstown. Costumes and St. Patrick's Day attire are described as appropriate and highly encouraged for the event and celebration.
