Tierra Redonda Mountain Trail Run
Tierra Redonda Mountain Trail Run is a trail running event held at Smith Ranch in Bradley, California. The event takes place on private cattle ranch land and uses a 10 km loop course that is 100% dirt, combining ranch road and single track trail. The 10 km loop has about 585 feet of vertical gain per loop. A 5 km loop is also used and has about 302 feet of vertical gain per loop. Aid stations are provided at approximately every three miles.
The event includes multiple race formats that use the 10 km loop, plus a separate 20 km option formed by two 10 km loops. Camping is available on site for a fee of $10.00 per vehicle per night, payable upon arrival. Camping is primitive and dry with no hookups or amenities, offered on a first come basis and not included in the race entry fee. Friends and family are welcome and dogs on leash are permitted.
Evening activities include a group bonfire each night and live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Awards are given to all finishers and handcrafted trophies are awarded to the top male and female in each event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
