Course, camping and on-site services
The course is a loop system on private ranch land composed of ranch road and single-track trail, 100% dirt. The 5 km loop has about 302 feet of vertical gain per loop; the 10 km loop has about 585 feet of vertical gain per loop. The 20 km distance is two 10 km loops. The 24 hour and 48 hour events use multiple 10 km loops. Aid stations are located at approximately every 3 miles.
On-site camping is available on a first-come basis, primitive with no hookups, and is charged at $10.00 per vehicle, per night, payable upon arrival. Friends and family are welcome and dogs on leash are permitted. There are nightly group bonfires and live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
