Wicked Wine Run - Bowstring Vineyard by TRUSS Wine
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at the Bowstring Vineyard by TRUSS Wine in Paso Robles, California. This event combines outdoor activity with the scenic backdrop of a working vineyard known for its sustainable farming and unique terroir. Participants can choose between two primary distances or participate in both:
- 5 km run or walk
- 1 km tasting walk
The 5 km course features two water stations and leads participants through the vineyard landscape. Upon crossing the finish line, runners receive a finisher medal and a glass of wine. The 1 km tasting walk is a more relaxed experience, featuring three sampling stations along the route with a fourth tasting glass provided at the finish.
Participants receiving the 5 km ticket also get an event shirt and a race bib. Those choosing the 1 km option receive an event shirt, a race bib, and an etched wine glass for their tastings. The event includes an after-party featuring a dance contest, costume contests, and food trucks. Music, games, and additional wine for purchase are available throughout the venue.
The venue is located at 8800 Vineyard Drive. On-site parking is available for a fee, and participants are encouraged to bring folding chairs or blankets for the post-race festivities. A spectator tasting-only ticket is also available for those who wish to access the vineyard festivities without participating in the timed events.
