The Wicked Wine Run takes place on October 17, 2026, at Bowstring Vineyard by TRUSS Wine, 8800 Vineyard Drive, Paso Robles, CA. The course runs through vineyard grounds and highlights the venue's sustainable farming practices. Distances offered include:
- 1K tasting walk
- 5K run/walk
The 5K has a 90-minute completion window and uses wave starts every 2-3 minutes. The 1K is a guided tasting walk with three sampling stations on the course and a fourth tasting at the finish.
Tickets and what is included
Ticket types include race entries for the 1K and 5K and a separate spectator tasting-only ticket. A packet delivery option is available for a $20 fee. Parking at the venue may cost up to $20; a digital parking pass can be pre-purchased during registration.
1K tickets include an event shirt, three 1 oz wine tastings on course, a fourth tasting at the finish in a provided wine glass, an event bib, and access to the after party. 5K tickets include an event shirt, a finisher medal, a free glass of wine at the finish, an event bib, and after-party access.
On-site information
On event day there will be packet pickup tents, race goodie bags, food trucks, aid stations, and two water stations on the 5K course plus a finish-line water station.
