Last One Standing at Bradley
This event uses a Last One Standing format. Runners repeat a measured loop of 4.18 miles each hour. Each loop must be completed within the hour to remain in the event. Runners who do not finish a loop within the hour are recorded as DNF and are no longer allowed on the course.
The course is 100% dirt on trails and ranch roads and is marked with green surveyor tape. Gross elevation gain and loss for the loop is +332 feet and -332 feet. The course is run in a loop format and is located at Smith Ranch, 8029 Lynch Canyon Road, Bradley, California.
A small crew of up to two people may set up at the race starting area. Runners are responsible for carrying their on-course aid such as water and snacks because there are no aid stations on the course. One staffed aid station will be available at the event for the duration and will offer water, ice, fruit, chicken soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, quesadillas, and branded nutrition products.
Race procedures include whistle warnings of 3, 2, and 1 minute to line up for the next loop and required presence in the start corral when a new loop begins. No artificial aids including trekking poles are allowed. Assigned bibs must be worn on the front and visible. There are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals.
Prizes and registration items include a custom western style trophy buckle for the final winner and participation items such as a handcrafted amulet, an event sticker, and a custom event t-shirt. Camp fees apply per vehicle per night payable to Smith Ranch. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
