Last One Standing at Bradley
Last One Standing is scheduled for September 18, 2026 at Smith Ranch in Bradley, California. The event uses a repeated loop format: participants run a 4.18 miles loop on dirt trails and ranch roads each hour until only one runner completes the final lap. The course is marked with green surveyors tape and has a gross elevation change of approximately +332 ft and -332 ft.
Each loop must be finished within the hour. Runners who do not complete a loop in the allotted hour are recorded as DNF and are not allowed back on course. Participants must be in the starting corral at the start of each hourly loop; failure to line up results in disqualification. Organizers will sound whistle warnings at 3, 2, and 1 minute before each start. Once in the starting corral no outside aid is allowed. Bib numbers must be worn on the front and visible at all times.
A small crew of up to two people may set up at the designated pit stop area. No non-competitors are permitted on course and no non-competitor pacers are allowed, though competitors may pace each other. Runners must carry their on-course aid; there are no on-course aid stations. Artificial aids, including trekking poles, are not permitted.
One staffed aid station at main camp will be available for the duration of the event offering water, ice, fruit, soup, grilled cheese, quesadillas and sports nutrition products. Packet pick up will occur at the main camp aid station on the day of the event.
Entry fees vary with date and a separate camp fee applies per vehicle. The final remaining runner receives a custom western style trophy buckle. All participants receive a handcrafted Kukini amulet, an event sticker, and a custom event t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
