Course and format

The course is a marked loop of 4.18 miles, comprised of 100% dirt, trail, and ranch roads, with gross elevation gain and loss of +332 ft and -332 ft. Participants run the loop every hour and must finish each loop within the hour to remain in the event. Runners who finish a loop within the hour may begin the next loop provided they are in the starting corral when the next hour begins. Speed within the loop does not affect standing; the requirement is to be back at the start before the hour expires.

Rules and logistics

Competitors may have a personal crew of up to two people and set up at the race starting area. No non-competitors are allowed on the course, except for restrooms. Runners must carry their own on-course aid; no aid stations will be on course. One staffed aid station will be available for the duration of the event. Artificial aids and non-competitor pacers are not allowed. Assigned bibs must be worn on the front and visible at all times. Packet pick up occurs on event day at the main camp aid station.
