Event Overview
The Thunderbunny Trail Races are trail running events in their 11th year. They are described as Athens County's first and only ultramarathon. The event takes place at Strouds Run State Park near Athens, Ohio.

Course Details
All distances run on trails within the park. The 50K course starts and ends on the 3-mile Thunderbunny Trail. The route includes a loop around Dow Lake and goes over the "Athens Ridge," providing a view of the city. The course is reported to be 95% singletrack trail, described as smooth and flowing, set in the Appalachian Foothills. It is characterized as a very runnable course. The 25K and 11K options run on the same trail network as the 50K.
