18th Annual Athens Turkey Trot November 26, 2026
The event is a community 5K running race held on November 26, 2026 in Athens, Ohio. The course is a flat out and back on the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway along the tree lined Hocking River. The event uses official chip timing and offers a commemorative t shirt for purchase as part of registration. An alternate parking option is Ohio Means Jobs on Union Street with a short walk along the bike path to the start area.
The race is organized by the Athens Athletics Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Athens. The club is an affiliate member of the Road Runners Club of America.
