Three Halls of Stockport 2026
Three Halls of Stockport 2026 is a self-navigating walk and run held on Sunday 18 January 2026. The route covers an approximate distance of 9 miles, depending on the route chosen. The event starts and finishes at Stockport Georgians Cricket Club in Woodsmoor, Stockport (postcode SK2 7DT).
Route, checkpoints and options
Participants must visit three main hall locations in any order: Wallbank Hall (Hazel Grove), Hulme Hall (Cheadle Hulme) and Underbank Hall (Stockport). Checkpoints will be located near the halls and exact locations are issued the week before the event. The organiser offers an optional “5 Halls” challenge for runners only; this adds two extra halls (Cheadle Hall and Goyt Hall). For the 5 Halls challenge there will not be a physical checkpoint at the two extra halls, so runners must provide evidence of their route or a photo near the halls.
Entry, age rules and other conditions
The event is open to runners and walkers. Individuals aged 18 and over may enter for the 3 Halls; under 18s may enter as juniors but must walk as part of a group. The 5 Halls challenge is open to runners aged 18 and over. Team entries of three or four adults can receive a £1.00 per-person discount after requesting a code. Refunds are issued at the organiser’s discretion and the organiser may amend or cancel aspects of the event if necessary. Participants are asked to use public rights of way and to record or photograph their progress where possible. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
