Event overview
Three Halls of Stockport is a self-navigating walk/run held on 18 January 2026 from a base at Stockport Georgians Cricket Club, Cromley Rd, Woodsmoor, SK2 7DT. The main route is approximately 9 miles depending on the chosen route. Participants navigate to three main hall locations in any order and then return to the start/finish location.
Routes, checkpoints and options
The three main halls for 2026 are Wallbank Hall (Hazel Grove), Hulme Hall (Cheadle Hulme) and Underbank Hall (Stockport). Two optional extra halls create a 5 Hall Challenge for runners only: Cheadle Hall and Goyt Hall. Exact checkpoint locations will be sent the week before the event and will be located near the halls. For the 5 Hall Challenge there will be no physical checkpoint at Cheadle or Goyt Hall; runners must provide route evidence (for example an app route) or a photo near those halls.
Entry, age rules and other information
The event is open to walkers and runners. Juniors (under 18) may enter but must take part as a walking group and may not run. The 5 Hall Challenge is open to runners aged 18 and over. Individual entry prices listed are £16 and Junior entry £6, each with an additional administration charge; UKA members receive a discount. Teams of three or four adults can receive a team discount per person if arranged before entry. Refunds are issued only at the organiser’s discretion. Participants are asked to use public rights of way, check in at checkpoints and record or photograph their route where possible. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
