Event overview
The Thornhill 10K is a community road race held in Thornhill, with the event hub at Thornhill Community Hall (FK8 3QB). The route runs round the Frews and passes local landmarks such as the Wallace monument and views of Munros to the north. The event supports Beatson Cancer Charity; £2 from each entry fee is donated to the charity and additional fundraising activities occur on the day.
The race was created in memory of a local dairy farmer who died in 2020 and follows the same route used during a year-long fundraising challenge of daily 10K runs.
