Water stops are provided at 5 km and 9 km on the 10K and at 1 km on the 2.5K. Road shoes are recommended.
Entry, timing, facilities and rules
Entry fees are listed as 10K: £26 and 2.5K: £10, with £2 from each entry fee donated to the event charity partner. The event was created in honour of a local dairy farmer who died in 2020 from duodenal cancer, and additional fundraising and catering proceeds support the charity.
All participants receive a medal. Timing is by electronic chip; race numbers and timing chips are posted to participants about two weeks before the event, with on-the-day collection for late registrants. Gender entry categories are Male, Female, Non-binary and Other; prizes for top places have minimum-entry conditions. Age limits: 10K minimum age 15; 2.5K minimum age 8 to run alone, younger children may run with an adult. Dogs are not permitted. Facilities include toilets, changing rooms, first aid, parking in nearby fields and hot and cold food and drinks. Deferral, transfer and refund policies apply within stated timeframes.
