Doonhamer 10k

The Doonhamer 10K is an annual road race organized by Dumfries Harriers, taking place in Dumfries on August 24, 2025. The race starts and finishes in Dock Park, along scenic pathways beside the River Nith, crossing several bridges. It features a certified course with chip timing, water stops, and marshaled routes to ensure safety.

Participants can enjoy amenities such as toilets and limited parking. Prizes are awarded to top male and female runners, including veterans. The event also includes a Junior Parkrun for children and a charity initiative to donate used trainers to ShoeShare Malawi.
