Doonhamer 10k
The Doonhamer 10k is a road race organized by the Dumfries Harriers Athletics Club. The event takes place annually on the last Sunday of August.
The course is designed as a loop that begins and ends in the refurbished Dock Park. The route takes participants through the park grounds and along the banks of the River Nith. A notable feature of this course is that it crosses the River Nith four separate times.
