Dumfries Half Marathon
The Dumfries Half Marathon is a measured road race held in Dumfries, Great Britain, on 20 September 2026. The route starts at the Dumfries and Galloway Campus, runs toward Glencaple with views of Criffel, and returns to finish at the College. The event is organised by Dumfries Running Club.

Race services include chip timing, mile markers, well marshalled marshals, regular water stations and pre and post race refreshments. Facilities listed for participants include ample car parking, toilet facilities, showers and changing areas. All finishers receive a medal and a comprehensive goody bag.
The event is a SAL permit race with licence application pending. Prize categories include first, second and third male and female, team prizes, and age category prizes for 40 plus, 50 plus and 60 plus. A three hour time limit applies. Under UKA rules only bone conducting headphones are permitted.
Registration opens 1 February 2026. The published entry fee for the half marathon is £25.00 plus applicable fees.
