Dumfries Half Marathon
Dumfries Running Club stages the Dumfries Half Marathon on 20 September 2026 at The Crichton, Dumfries. The event covers 13.1 Miles and starts and finishes at Dumfries & Galloway College, Bankend Road, Dumfries, DG1 4FD. The race is also the host for the British Masters Championship 2026.
Race entries are limited and the online entry closing date is 19 September 2026. The listed entry fee is £25.00 plus additional fees. All finishers receive a medal and a comprehensive goody bag. The course is described as accurately measured and scenic, with chip timing, mile markers, regular water stations and a well marshalled route. Facilities include ample car parking, toilet facilities, showers and changing, and pre and post race refreshments.
The event is SAL permitted under licence ESO14916 and includes prize categories for overall and age group placings including M&F and masters age groups. A 3 hour time limit applies. Under UKA rules only bone conducting headphones may be used. Results and entrant information may be published for licensing and results purposes in line with event data practices.
