Registration is at St John’s Church Hall, Holme, Chapel-in-Cliviger, near Burnley, BB10 4SU (grid ref SD875285). Course and logistics

The race starts in the field next to the Ram Inn, opposite the village hall and about 100 m along the road towards Todmorden. The route initially crosses a often boggy field and follows the Mary Towneley Loop to Scout Farm, then climbs steeply to the moor and continues to a ruin at CP4. Runners cross fields and rough moorland to the Pike, reach a trig point, then descend over grassy and technical sections, pass through a young plantation, and finish back in the starting field via a bridleway.

Organisers may require full waterproof body cover; runners are asked to bring waterproofs that cover the torso from head to ankles. Prizes are awarded to the first five men and first five women, first U23 man and woman, and veterans in 10-year age categories. Parking guidance requests leaving the area in front of the school free for emergency vehicles and avoiding obstruction of properties and gateways. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
