Too Cool for Pule
Too Cool for Pule is a fell race held in Marsden that follows a circular route starting and finishing at Marsden Cricket Club. The course covers 5.8 Mile and includes approximately 1026 ft of ascent.
The route passes reservoirs, upland hills and local viewpoints. Sections of the course run along the Slabbed Pennine Way and include wet, boggy ground underfoot. The terrain and surface conditions are noted features of the course and affect footing through several parts of the route.
Entry arrangements include separate fees for FRA members and non members. The published entry fees are £8.00 for FRA members and £10.00 for non members. Entries have opening and closing dates listed for the event and entries are recorded through the event registration system.
Trophy prizes are awarded across gender and veteran age categories. Awards listed include first place in Female Senior, Female V40, Female V50, Female V60, Male Senior, Male V40, Male V50 and Male V60, together with first place club prizes for female and male clubs.
