The WellStyles Move More 5k
The WellStyles Move More event at Foothills Recreation and Aquatic Center in Glendale, AZ includes a 5K run/walk and a 1-mile walk. The event is organized in partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and is open to City of Glendale employees, family, friends, and community members. Pets are not allowed for safety reasons; service animals are permitted.
Entry fees are $10.00 per person, with children 12 and under free. The price increases to $15.00 per person on 2/15/2027. Registrants who sign up by January 27 are guaranteed an event T-shirt; the first 600 registrants will receive a shirt and only those who registered by January 27 are guaranteed their chosen size.
Participants receive a race bib, chip timed results, and a finisher medal. The 5K includes awards for the top three male and female finishers. Pre and post-race refreshments will be provided and water stations will be available on course. A free community wellness fair will follow the event, and there will be a free rock wall climb inside the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center.
Parking is free in the main lot at the Foothills Recreation and Aquatic Center. Overflow parking is available at nearby City of Glendale facilities, including Foothills Park Skate Park at 5752 W. Union Hills Drive. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
