14th Annual AZ Veterans Day Run
The AZ Veterans Day Run brings participants to the running paths of Kiwanis Park in Tempe, Arizona. Organized by Team RWB Phoenix and StartLine Racing, the event serves as a benefit for Team Red, White and Blue, an organization dedicated to connecting veterans to their communities through physical and social activities. The 2026 edition specifically honors the U.S. Space Force as part of a multi-year series recognizing different branches of the military.
The event offers several distances to accommodate various participation levels:
- 10K Run/Walk
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
- Virtual Run (can be completed at any location)
Participants receive a custom event finisher's medal featuring the U.S. Space Force theme and have access to a pre- and post-race runner's brunch including fruit, granola bars, and water. Competitive participants in the 10K and 5K categories are eligible for age group awards covering three deep in groups ranging from 8 and under to 80 and over.
The course is open to strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs, with the requirement that these participants start at the back of the pack. The event is also pet-friendly for leashed animals. Timing is conducted using chips with real-time results provided. Packet pick-up is available both the day before the event at a local sporting goods store and on the morning of the race at the park.
