West Valley Triathlon
The West Valley Triathlon takes place on 11/14/2026 at the Avondale Aquatic Center in Avondale, AZ. The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and requires each participant to hold either a USAT Day membership or an annual USAT membership. The program includes individual triathlon and duathlon races, youth distances, and relay options.
Packet pick up details will be posted and emailed a week before the event. All participants receive a finisher award; an event t-shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed before 11/7/2026. Drinks and snacks are provided after the event.
Event distances
- Long Tri and Long Tri Relay: 250 Meter swim, 12 Mile bike, 5K run
- Short Tri and Short Tri Relay: 200 Meter swim, 8 Mile bike, 1.5 Mile run
- Mini Tri and Youth: 100 Meter swim, 4 Mile bike, 1 Mile run
- Duathlon and Duathlon Relay: 5K run, 12 Mile bike, 5K run
Relay and youth notes: Long Tri Relay teams consist of three members with each member completing one leg. Duathlon Relay teams may have two or three members; roles can split the first run, the bike, and the final run. For youth athletes age 14 and under, an adult must ride with them during the bike portion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
