West Valley Triathlon
The West Valley Triathlon is scheduled for 11/14/2026 and takes place at the Avondale Aquatic Center in Avondale, AZ. The event is USAT sanctioned; all participants must have a USAT day membership or a yearly membership to participate. The race offers individual entries and relay teams, and includes youth divisions.
Pre-race packet pick up information will be posted and emailed a week before the event. For 2026, each distance will use color coded bibs for course signage.
Event distances
- Long Tri and Long Tri Relay: 250 Meter swim, 12 Mile bike, 5K run
- Short Tri and Short Tri Relay: 200 Meter swim, 8 Mile bike, 1.5 Mile run
- Mini/Youth Tri and Youth/Mini Tri Relay: 100 Meter swim, 4 Mile bike, 1 Mile run
- Duathlon and Duathlon Relay: 5K run, 12 Mile bike, 5K run
Youth participants aged 14 and under must have an adult ride with them during the bike portion. All participants receive a finisher award; a T-shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed before 11/7/2026. Awards are distributed by gender and age groups for individual events and by team category for relays. Post-event drinks and snacks will be provided.
