About the race
The Voodoo Keller Rabbit 5k fun run takes place on 24 March 2027 at the Voodoo Keller Bar in Chelmsford, Essex (CM1 1NE). The event is described as a fun, non-competitive outing on a brand new 5k loop. TRA permit number is listed as TBC and a £2 levy applies for non TRA/EA members.
The route is provided as a GPX/Strava file with a narrative backup. Participants must bring a mobile phone registered with the number used for entry and a headtorch. High visibility clothing or Easter themed attire is recommended.
Entry includes an Easter themed medal and a finishers drink. Participants who catch the Keller Rabbit and return with an uneaten chocolate egg receive an upgrade of their drink to a cocktail. If the egg is eaten on course or the rabbit is not caught, the usual drink options apply. Wearing of the finisher medal is compulsory until leaving the bar.
There is space in the bar’s back area to leave bags at the owner’s risk. The course requires negotiating stairs out of the basement at the start and finish. A tail walker or rider will be present. Public transport options and nearby car-parks are available within a short walk.
Total places are 60 and the event status is listed as open. Entry fees range from £18 to £20 depending on booking date; a service fee of 4% (minimum 50p) applies to each sign-up.
