The Voodoo Keller Rabbit easter 5k fun run
This event takes place on 24 March 2027 at the Voodoo Keller Bar in Chelmsford, Essex. The route is a brand new 5k loop provided as a GPX and Strava file with a narrative backup; the GPX, Strava and narrative links will be emailed in early March. The organiser describes the event as a fun run rather than a competition. A TRA permit number is listed as TBC and there is a £2 levy for non TRA or EA members.
Participants are asked to carry event kit including the mobile phone used for registration and a headtorch. High visibility clothing or Easter themed attire is recommended. The course requires using stairs out of the basement at both the start and the finish. A tail walker or rider will be present.
Entry includes an Easter themed medal and a finishers drink. If a participant catches the Keller Rabbit, brings back an uneaten chocolate egg and is recorded by the timer, the finishers drink can be upgraded to a cocktail; eating the egg on course or failing to catch the rabbit leaves the standard drink option. Wearing finishers medals is compulsory until leaving the bar.
There are multiple public transport options to the venue and local car parks within a short walk. A back area of the bar is available to leave bags at participants own risk. Total places are 60.
