The Tuckahoe 25K
The Tuckahoe 25K is a trail race in Queen Anne, Maryland at 13283 Cherry Ln, held on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The distance is 25K (15.5 miles) measured as trail miles, so GPS devices may report a different reading.
The course is mostly single-track with some wider horse trails. It is not described as highly technical or rocky, but includes runnable hills and several rooty, muddy sections. Participants should be prepared for varied surface conditions and the possibility of slipping or falling. The event runs in rain, sleet, or snow; there is no rain date. A cancellation will occur only if a force majeure event prevents EMS, aid stations, or support staff from functioning. If canceled, no refunds or credits will be issued.
Three fully stocked aid stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and are staffed by experienced volunteers. Real food, both sweet and salty, is available at aid stations. Awards are given to the top three men and the top three women, and all participants receive event swag. The event is organized by Algonquin Ultras Inc. and the Centreville Crushers Running Club in partnership with Maryland Parks and Maryland Forests.
Race rules include no bib transfers or bandits, bibs visible at all times, no littering, stay on the established course, return your bib if you drop out, no pacers or crews, no deferrals or refunds, and no dogs for runners.
