The Tuckahoe 25k
The Tuckahoe 25k is a trail race held in Queen Anne, MD at 13283 Cherry Ln on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The course is listed as 25k (15.5 miles); organizers note these are trail miles, so GPS distance may vary.
The route is mostly single track with some wider horse trails. It is not described as highly technical or rocky, but it includes runnable hills and a few rooty, muddy sections. Participants should expect to get dirty and should be prepared for variable fall weather, including rain, sleet, or snow. The event has no rain date and will proceed unless a force majeure prevents emergency services, aid stations, or support staff from functioning.
Three fully stocked aid stations provide water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and food of both sweet and salty types. Volunteers staff the aid stations. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women, and all participants receive event swag.
The race is organized by Algonquin Ultras Inc. in partnership with the Centreville Crushers Running Club. Event rules include no bib transfers, visible bibs at all times, no littering, staying on the established course, returning a bib to the first crew member if dropping out, no pacers or crews, no deferrals or refunds, no dogs for runners, and no early or late starts.
