Event Overview
The Tuckahoe 25K is a 25-kilometer trail race. It will take place on November 21, 2026. This is the event's 8th annual edition.
Race Course
The course covers 25 kilometers of trail. It consists of mostly single-track and some wider horse trails. It is described as not overly technical or rocky, with runnable hills and some rooty, muddy sections. The event is scheduled to proceed regardless of weather conditions like rain, sleet, or snow.
Race Amenities
There will be three fully stocked aid stations. They will provide water, electrolyte drinks, gels, and real food. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers. All participants receive swag.
Event Management
The race is organized by Algonquin Ultras Inc., a nonprofit organization, and the Centreville Crushers Running Club. It is part of a series of events that partner with Maryland Parks and Maryland Forests. Specific rules are in place: no bib transfers, deferrals, refunds, pacers, crews, dogs, or littering are allowed. Participants must keep their bib numbers visible and stay on the established course.
