About the race
The Terrapin Cult Classic is a trail running event at Terrapin Nature Park in Stevensville, Maryland. The course is a gravel trail with minimal elevation change that runs through forest and along a stretch of sand, and it provides water views and portions with views of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. The 10 km course is two loops of the 5 km.

The event awards a finisher’s medal and a technical event shirt and uses chip timing. Water stations are placed along the courses: the 10 km has three stations near miles 1.8, 3.1, and 4.9, and the 5 km has one station near mile 1.8. Restrooms are available onsite and packet pickup is offered at the event. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed for runners registered before January 13; additional shirts will be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis.
Results are posted live and final results with series points are published after the race. Points from the event count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack Series, and they also count toward the Sippin Series. A virtual race option is offered. After the race, participants receive a drink ticket valid at Cult Classic Brewing, located a few miles from the park.
Awards include top three overall men and women and first and second in standard age groups; overall top three are not eligible for age-group awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
