Terrapin Trot 5k & 10k
The event on December 27, 2026 takes place at Terrapin Nature Park in Stevensville, Maryland. It offers two distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The course runs on a gravel trail with minimal elevation change through park forest and along a stretch of sand, and it includes water views of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. The 10 km consists of two loops of the 5 km route.
This is a chip-timed event. Registered runners receive a finisher medal and a technical (DriFit) event shirt; shirt sizes are guaranteed for those registered before December 14. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered, though shirts for race day registrants cannot be guaranteed. Registration fees listed for early and later deadlines are provided by the organizer; prices increase on race morning.
There are three water stations on the 10 km course (approximate mile markers 1.8, 3.1, and 4.9) and one on the 5 km (approximate mile 1.8); Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are onsite.
Points from the races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, and Back of the Pack series and toward the Fall Series. A virtual race option is available.
