The race starts and finishes at Kent Island Elementary School, 110 Elementary Way, Stevensville, MD 21666. The course runs along the Cross Island Trail. Packet pickup is held on race morning in the school cafeteria and opens at 7:30. An awards ceremony is held after the run; awards include 1st place male and female, age group awards, and top three male and female in the walking division. Age group winners must be present to receive awards. The event is described as family-friendly and dog-friendly; dog treats will be available at the finish. Hot chocolate is provided at the finish.
