Tilbury Douglas Yorkshire Run for WaterAid 2026
The Tilbury Douglas Yorkshire Run for WaterAid takes place on Sunday 20 September 2026 at Swinsty Reservoir, near Harrogate, in the Washburn Valley within the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The event offers two measured races around the reservoir on an accessibility-friendly circuit.
The course is multi terrain and mainly flat with one moderate hill. Most of the route is on paths, with some road sections and short stretches on flat dirt track. Laps vary by distance and results are published on Power of 10 under a UKA Licence (Licence No: 31100).

The event has an entry limit of 300 places. Entry fees vary by distance and concessions, with reduced prices for car sharing and for England Athletics members; entry on the day may be available for an additional fee. Car sharing is encouraged and vehicles with multiple occupants are eligible for priority parking.
Race headquarters is at Swinsty Moor Car Park (LS21 2NP). Facilities listed for the event include water stations, distance markers and toilets; there are no changing rooms, showers or baggage storage. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs. Photography is arranged for the event and participants are automatically opted in unless they request otherwise. All funds raised from the event support WaterAid projects.
