Tilbury Douglas Yorkshire Run for WaterAid 2026
The event takes place on Sunday 20 September 2026 at Swinsty Reservoir near Harrogate in the Washburn Valley, inside the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is organised to raise funds for WaterAid; all funds and sponsorship from this event go to WaterAid projects.
The route is multi terrain and mainly flat, with one moderate hill. Most of the course runs on paths, with some sections on road and short segments on a flat dirt track. The course uses a reservoir circuit that is run as one lap for the shorter distance and two laps for the longer distance. The race holds a UKA Licence No: #31100 and results are published on Power of 10. To comply with licence rules, participants are discouraged from wearing headphones or earphones and must keep their race number visible. The event is photographed and participants may request exclusion from photos by email.

Entry is limited to 300 places; availability was listed at 196 places remaining at the time of publication. Entry fees vary by distance, car share option and England Athletics membership, with advertised prices between £15.00 and £20.00. Due to location and parking, car sharing is encouraged and offers a discounted entry fee plus priority parking for vehicles with multiple occupants.
Race HQ is Swinsty Moor Car Park LS21 2NP. Facilities include water, distance markers and toilets; there are no changing facilities, showers or baggage storage. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
