Tilbury Douglas Yorkshire Run for WaterAid 2026
The Tilbury Douglas Yorkshire Run for WaterAid is a charity running event held at Swinsty Reservoir near Harrogate on Sunday 20 September 2026. The course uses the accessible paths around the reservoir in the Washburn Valley on the southern side of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The route is mainly on paths with some sections on road and short segments on a flat dirt track. The circuit is relatively flat with one moderate hill. The event offers two distances:
- 5 km (one lap)
- 10 km (two laps)
The race has an entry limit of 300 places and holds a UKA licence application marked as pending. To comply with UKA rules, the organiser discourages the use of headphones or earphones and requires race numbers to be visible. Car sharing is encouraged because of parking limitations; entries using car share receive a reduced fee and cars with multiple occupants may receive priority parking.
Facilities listed for the event include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage.
