The Tilbury Douglas Yorkshire Run for WaterAid takes place at Swinsty Reservoir in the Washburn Valley, Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The event is organised by WaterAid in Yorkshire and Yorkshire Water. Race HQ is at Swinsty Moor Car Park (LS21 2NP). The event holds a UKA licence (UKA Licence 29589) and the entry limit is 300, with 187 places remaining.

Course and facilities
The course is multi-terrain and mainly flat with one moderate hill. The route uses roads and paths with short segments on a flat dirt track. Laps are 1 for the 5 km and 2 for the 10 km. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. On-course facilities include water stations, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing rooms, no showers and no baggage store.
Entry and charity
Entry fees range from £13.00 to £17.00 depending on distance, car-sharing and England Athletics membership discounts. If the event does not sell out, on-the-day entry is available for an additional £3.00. Car sharing is encouraged and receives a reduced fee plus priority parking for cars with multiple occupants. Proceeds from the event support WaterAid projects to bring clean water to 130,000 people in Ethiopia.
