Event Overview

The Three River Challenge is a 15-mile (approximately 23.65 km) run along riverbanks and roads. The route follows the rivers Slea, Skirth, and Witham across the Lincolnshire Fens.

Event Details

The assembly area for the event is the Coronation Hall in South Kyme village. Free parking is available on a grassed area directly behind the hall, as well as along the roadside in the village. Access to the hall and parking opens from 0830.

There is a separate start time for walkers (or runners expecting to take over 3 hours 30 minutes) and for runners. The route will be marshalled at decision points and near public roads. Participants must follow marshal instructions.

On the Course

Three drinks stations are positioned along the route at approximately 7 km, 13 km, and 17 km. Bags can be left in the supervised Coronation Hall, though the organisers accept no responsibility for lost items. Toilets are available, but changing facilities are limited. Dogs are permitted if kept under close control.

After the Event

Free refreshments, including hot soup, tea, coffee, and cake, are provided for all participants. Medals are also given. Results will be displayed electronically in the assembly area and online once ratified.

Participation

Participants enter and participate at their own risk. They confirm they are medically fit to take part and accept responsibility for their belongings and vehicles. Entry on the day is available up to one hour before the runner start at a cost of £20.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
