Event details
The Lincoln Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 04 October 2026 and starts and finishes at the Lincolnshire Showground. The route covers a 13.1-mile course into the city and passes landmarks including Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral. Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive medal, with an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an iTAB.
On the day and facilities
Race numbers are collection only. A designated Baggage Store is provided; participants should use the tear-off strip on the race number to tag bags before check-in. Water stations on course supply 330ml bottles and recycling bins; High5 energy stations will provide Zero tabs and energy gels. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on the course with flags showing target finish times. Toilets will be available around the stadium and a zero-tolerance policy applies to urinating outside allocated facilities. Medical personnel will be available at regular intervals, with fixed first aid near water stations, a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, and roaming first aiders in the Event Village. MarathonPhotos will take on-course photographs and official results will be published in the event results section after the race.
