Lincoln Half Marathon
The Lincoln Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 04 October 2026 with start and finish at the Lincolnshire Showground. The route passes into the city along Middle Street, past Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral, follows the Foss Dyke near the University of Lincoln, crosses the canal and returns to the showground.
The event uses chip timing and includes a finisher’s goody bag and an exclusive finisher’s medal. Entrants may purchase a technical finisher t-shirt and an iTAB engraving for their medal. Entrants must be aged 17 years or older on the day of the race.
Race numbers are issued by collection only, with advance collection available from Yarborough Leisure Centre in the weeks before the event and additional collection from the Race Office in the Event Village on race day. Baggage drop is provided and baggage labels are attached to race numbers.
Course support includes pacers carrying finish time flags, fixed water stations supplying 330 ml bottles, Applied Nutrition isotonic drinks and energy gels at energy stations, and first aid at fixed stations near water points plus roaming first aiders and a finish area first aid unit. Recycling bins are provided on course and at water stations and trainer drop off stations are available for reuse. Event photography and postrace results are published after the event. Public toilets are provided and a zero tolerance policy applies to urination outside designated facilities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
