Lincoln Half Marathon
The Lincoln Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 04 October 2026, with both start and finish at the Lincolnshire Showground. The event covers a scenic 13.1 mile route that goes into the heart of the city and passes landmarks including Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral. The Event Village offers food and drink options and hosts partner charities and post-race services.
Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. Race numbers are available by collection only and anyone found running with another person’s number will be disqualified. Entries include chip timing, a finisher’s goody bag and an exclusive medal, with an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB.
On course provision includes water stations supplying 330 ml bottles and Applied Nutrition energy stations offering isotonic drinks and energy gels. Recycling bins are provided at each water station. Medical personnel will be available at fixed first aid stations near water points, with a first aid unit and recovery area close to the start and finish and roaming first aiders around the Event Village. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on course and allocated flags with target finish times. Baggage can be dropped in the designated Baggage Store using the tear-off strip on the race number.
