Lincoln Half Marathon
The Lincoln Half Marathon is a road race that starts and finishes at the Lincolnshire Showground and covers a 13.1 miles route into the heart of Lincoln. The course passes city landmarks including Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral and finishes back at the showground.
Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. Entries include chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive medal, with options to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an engraved iTAB. Race numbers are collection only; running with another competitor's number is prohibited and may lead to disqualification.
An Event Village provides food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities. Water stations supply 330ml bottles and High5 energy products; recycling bins are provided at water stations and across the site. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will carry flags showing target finish times. Allocated toilets will be available around the stadium and the organiser operates a zero tolerance policy for public urination.
Medical personnel will staff fixed first aid points near water stations, a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, plus roaming first aiders in the Event Village. MarathonPhotos will take photographs during the event that can be purchased afterwards. A trainer drop-off with JogOn and other sustainability measures are in place to reduce event waste.
