Event details
The Lincoln Half Marathon is set for Sunday 04 October 2026 and starts and finishes at the Lincolnshire Showground. The route covers a 13.1-mile course into the city and passes Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral. Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive medal, with an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB engraving.
On the day and logistics
Race numbers are collection only and must not be used by anyone other than the named entrant. A designated Baggage Store is available; entrants should attach the tear-off strip from their race number to their bag before check-in. Water stations will provide 330 ml bottles and recycling bins will be available at each station. High5 energy stations will supply Zero tabs and energy gels. Pacers sponsored by Arla Protein will be on course with flags showing target finish times. Medical personnel and fixed first aid stations will be located near water stations, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish. Toilets will be provided around the stadium; a zero-tolerance policy applies to urination outside allocated facilities. MarathonPhotos will take event photos and results will be published on the event results section after the race. Parking is available at the Lincolnshire Showground via Gates 2 and 4; there is a drop-off loop using Gate 4 and exit via Gate 5. A sports massage service will be available in the Event Village.
