Lincoln Half Marathon
The Lincoln Half Marathon is a scenic road race taking place on 4th October 2026. The event features a 13.1-mile route that begins and ends at the Lincolnshire Showground. Participants follow a course that travels from the showground into the heart of the city, passing historic sites such as Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral.
The event is open to participants aged 17 years or over on race day. The course includes various support services to assist runners, including:

The course is equipped with water stations providing 330ml bottles, alongside energy stations offering isotonic drinks and gels. Friendly pacers are available on the route to help participants maintain specific finish times. Medical personnel are stationed at regular intervals and near the start and finish lines.
Participants receive chip timing and a finisher medal upon completion. A goody bag is also provided, with options to pre-order finisher t-shirts.
The Event Village at the Lincolnshire Showground serves as the hub for the race, offering baggage storage and a sports massage area. Food and drink are available for purchase, and several local partner charities are represented on-site. Parking is provided at the showground via designated gates, with accessible drop-off loops for those being driven to the venue.
The event follows a zero-tolerance policy regarding public urination, and participants are required to use the provided portable toilets. To support sustainability, recycling bins are placed at water stations, and there is a collection point for unwanted trainers near the race office.
