Lincoln Half Marathon
The Lincoln Half Marathon starts and finishes at the Lincolnshire Showground and follows a scenic 13.1-mile route into the heart of Lincoln, passing landmarks such as Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral. Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day.
The event includes chip timing, a finisher's goody bag and an exclusive medal, with an option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and an engraved iTAB. Race numbers are collection only and runners must not allow others to run under their race number. An event village offers food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities.
On course provision includes water stations supplying 330ml bottles, Applied Nutrition isotonic drinks and energy gels, recycling bins at water stations, pacers sponsored by Arla Protein, and regular medical personnel with fixed first aid stations near water points. Toilets will be located around the stadium and a baggage store is available; runners should attach the tear-off strip from their race number to their bag when checking in.
Practical information covers parking at the Lincolnshire Showground LN2 2NA via Gates 2 and 4 with Gate 1 closed for parking, specific access and exit routes via Till Bridge Lane, and a drop off loop using Gate 4 and Gate 5. MarathonPhotos will take event photographs and results will be published after the event. A post-race massage service is available in the event village. JogOn trainer drop-off stations will be located near the Race Office to support event sustainability. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
