Lincoln Half Marathon : 04 October 2026
The Lincoln Half Marathon is a 13.1-mile road race that starts and finishes at the Lincolnshire Showground. The route goes into the city and passes Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral. Entrants must be 17 years or over on event day. Included with entry are chip timing, a finisher's goody bag, an exclusive medal and the option to pre-order a finisher t-shirt and iTAB engraving.
On the day
The event village offers food and drink for purchase and hosts partner charities. Water stations on course will provide 330 ml bottles; High5 energy stations with Zero tabs and gels are also available. Recycling bins are provided at each water station. Fixed first aid stations are located near water stations, with a first aid unit and recovery area near the start and finish, plus roaming first aiders in the event village. Pacers with finish-time flags will be on the course. Race numbers are collection only; allowing another person to run with a race number will lead to disqualification. Toilets are located around the stadium; public urination may result in disqualification. MarathonPhotos will photograph the event and results will be published on the event website after the race.
Logistics and transport
Parking is available at the Lincolnshire Showground via Gates 2 and 4; there is no parking at Gate 1. Entrants from the north, south and east are directed to use Gate 2 via the A15 and Till Bridge Lane. Entrants from the west should use Gate 4 and exit via Gate 5. A drop-off loop uses Gate 4 in and Gate 5 out. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
