The Silos St. Patricks Day 5k
The Silos St. Patricks Day 5k is scheduled for March 13, 2027, in downtown Easley, South Carolina. The course starts and finishes adjacent to the clock tower in Old Market Square and is organized as a 5-kilometer running race. This edition is the ninth year of the event and features a new title sponsor.
The race serves as the first event in the Pickens County 5k Race Series, which also includes The Azalea Festival 5k, Hot Pursuit 5k and 1 Mile Catch-A-Cop, and The Doodle Trail 5k and 15k. Overall male and female, masters male and female, and age-group awards are presented at the conclusion of the race. Prize money is allocated both for the single race and for series standings: the top three finishers in this race receive cash awards of $100, $75, and $25, and overall series point leaders who compete in at least three events are eligible for $150, $100, and $50 payouts based on the best of four races.
Packet pickup is available the day before the race at The Silos and again on race morning at Old Market Square. Tee shirts and a finisher award are guaranteed for participants who register by February 28. All donations and race revenue benefit local Pickens County charities.
