The Silos St. Patrick's Day 5K
The Silos St. Patrick's Day 5K is a road race that starts and finishes in downtown Easley adjacent to the clock tower in Old Market Square. It is the first race in the Pickens County 5K Race Series and is presented as the ninth running of this event.
Awards are given for overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and in five-year age-group intervals. Cash prizes are offered for the top three male and female finishers at The Silos event: 1st $100, 2nd $75, 3rd $25. In the Pickens County 5K Race Series, overall top three male and female point leaders who participate in at least three events are eligible for cash awards based on their best four races: 1st $150, 2nd $100, 3rd $50.
Packet pickup is available at The Silos on the Friday before the race and on race morning at the race start in Old Market Square. Tee shirts and a finisher award are guaranteed for participants who register by February 28. The event directs its donations and revenue to local Pickens County charities.
