GTC Paris Mountain Road Race
The Paris Mountain Road Race takes place on 12 May 2026 in Greenville, South Carolina. The event starts and finishes at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 6150 Old Buncombe Rd. It serves as the final race in the Greenville Track Club Running Series.
The event includes two distances:
- 20K: 2500 vertical feet gain, 89 curves, some hills at 15% grade.
- 10K: roughly 1500 feet elevation gain around the base of Paris Mountain.
The 20K route ascends the north side of Paris Mountain, descends the south side, and returns along the hilly back roads at the mountain base. The 10K follows a hilly loop around the base of the mountain. The 20K has a finish time requirement of three hours, which corresponds to a minimum pace of 14:29 per mile for that distance.
Registration opens 16 March 2026 and closes 4 October 2026 for both distances. The published entry fees are $35.00 for the 20K and $25.00 for the 10K. Strollers and dogs are not permitted in the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
