Hartness Half Marathon & 5K
The Hartness Half Marathon & 5K is a set of cross-country style running events held on December 12, 2026, at the Hartness property in Greenville, South Carolina. The property is located near Pelham Road and Interstate 85 and is being transformed from an industrial plot to a mixed-use area with living and recreational spaces.
Runners will encounter multiple surfaces on the course, including pavement, trails, dirt roads, gravel roads and grass fields. The event layout includes a half marathon course, a relay option that covers the same total distance, and a separate 5K course.

- Half Marathon Relay : 13.1 miles total; two runners each run one loop (about 6.55 miles each)
Registration details and fees vary by event. Registration opens on March 17, 2026 for the half marathon and 5K, with closing dates for those events on June 30, 2026. The relay registration opens March 17, 2026 and closes August 31, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $65.00 for the half marathon, $25.00 for the 5K, and $88.00 for a two-person relay team. Relay registration covers the full team payment and the invited team member does not pay an additional fee.
