Logistics are organized to reduce trail impact and support runner safety. Starts are staggered and teams receive start assignments based on expected finish duration. The course is an out and back 50k with three relay transition points, two of which are used twice. Aid stations are available at each transition point and drop bag service is provided for ultra runners. Teams must supply their own transportation between transition points. Chip timing is provided for a seven hour timing window and tri chip bracelet timing records split times at transition points. Packet pickup is available early and on race day at Saint Michael's Park, with team captains able to collect packets for their teams.
On course support includes portable toilets, food, parking, water, and staffed timing checkpoints. Race shirts are provided for relay and ultra participants. Relay teams receive medals and ultra runners receive a 50k buckle medal. Additional swag and awards are linked to charity donations and overall team performance categories.
