About the race
Conestoga Mini-THON organizes a charity running event at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne, PA to raise funds for pediatric cancer research and treatment. All proceeds from the event are designated for Mini-THON and are routed through Four Diamonds, which works with Penn State College of Medicine on pediatric cancer research and family support.
The event program includes two distances:
- 5K run
- 1 Mile walk
Registration information and fees are set in advance. The base entry fee is $30 per participant for each distance, with the fee increasing after November 2. Registration opens in late July and closes in early November. The first 250 registrants receive a Mini-THON Gold Out T-shirt in sizes S through XL. Participants can expect on-course refreshments and prizes.
Awards are given for overall finishers and age groups, with top three places recognized overall and in each age group. Timing and official results are managed by a professional timing company and will be posted after the event.
