The Savage Loop 2026
The Savage Loop is an endurance trail event held in Niceville, Florida. The event takes place at the L J Schooners Dockside Restaurant and consists of multiple distances through demanding terrain. Participants run a series of laps in a loop race format designed to test grit and physical limits. All proceeds from the event are donated to the 2026 Workshop of Wishes kid.
Registration for the event includes a race t-shirt and a Savage Loop Swag Bag. Participants must register by March 7, 2026, to be guaranteed a t-shirt, and the final registration deadline is March 12, 2026. The race has a strictly enforced 12 hour cut-off time for completion.
The event offers several individual race distances:
- 42 Mile Ultramarathon
- 35 Mile Almost Savage
- 26.2 Mile Corner to Corner Marathon
- 20 Mile Explore Destin
- 10 Mile Destin Bridge
Packet pickup is available on the day before the event at L J Schooners between 15:00 and 19:00. Runners also have the option to collect their race packets on the morning of the event at the start line. Awards are presented at the conclusion of the races for various categories.
