About the race
The Savage Loop is an ultramarathon event held in Niceville, FL around Choctawatchee Bay. The event is organized and run by members of the 7th Special Forces Group and is presented as the seventh annual running of the Savage Loop. Proceeds are directed to Workshop of Wishes (WOW); a 2027 Savage Loop Wish kid is selected and donations are dedicated in the name of five fallen heroes from 1st Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group.

A shuttle is provided to return participants of the shorter distances to the start line. Course maps and event schedule are available for reference. Results can be automatically posted to Twitter for participants who connect an account prior to race day.
