About the race
The 11th Annual Niceville Ugly Sweater Run/Walk takes place in Niceville, Florida on December 12, 2026 and benefits the NHS Track + Field Facilities Fund. The event combines a timed 5K run, a 5K walk, and a one mile kids fun run for children 12 and under.
Distances:
- 5K run open to all ages and officially timed.
- 5K walk open to all ages; walkers are asked to remain walking if registered as walkers.
- 1 mile kids fun run for ages 12 and under; parents may accompany but will not be timed.
Listed registration fees in the event entries are $40 for the 5K run, $40 for the 5K walk, and $25 for the children's 1 mile. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed only for registrations completed by November 23, 2026. The 5K run features official timing and medals awarded for top finishers in age groups. A limited quantity of finisher medals may be available for purchase during online registration. Children's participants receive a custom participation ribbon and a custom T-shirt.
