The Race for a Place
The Race for a Place is the 3rd annual Front Porch Housing run/walk held at 1433 Cleveland Street, Greenville, SC 29607. The event raises awareness and funding for supportive housing and supportive services, and it takes place on and around the Front Porch property and the neighboring Greenville Technical Campus. The event offers timed options for participants and awards overall top male and female finishers plus the top three finishers in each age group for male and female divisions.
Registration opens on 2025-10-31 at 12:00 and closes on 2026-09-11 at 23:59. Fees listed by distance are included below. Packet pickup for bibs and supplies is scheduled on the day before the event in the ClubHouse at Front Porch Housing. Day-of registration is available on race morning during a limited window.
Children 7 years old and under may participate without registration and will not receive a race shirt. Registered participants will receive shirts; the smallest available size is Adult XS. Children under 8 may register to receive an official race time but will not be placed in an awards division.
