Event details
The Race for a Place 5K & 10K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Greenville, SC. The event is the third annual race organized by Front Porch Housing. The course will run around the Front Porch property and the neighboring Greenville Technical Campus. The event location is 1433 Cleveland Street, Greenville, SC 29607. Registration for the events opens October 31, 2025.

Participation and policies
Entry fees listed are $25 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K. Packet pickup is available on the morning of the race. Children 7 years old and under may participate for free without registration; free participants do not receive a race shirt. Children under 8 may register to receive an official race time but will not be placed in an awards division. Awards include top overall male and female and top three finishers per age group in male and female divisions. Age divisions are listed as 8-12, 13-19, 20-20, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
