The Race for a Healthier World 5K
This event is a 3.1 mile (5K) two-lap run or walk through the campus of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. It is organized by the Foundation for Fresh Produce to raise funds and awareness for programs that increase fruit and vegetable consumption and expand access to fresh, nutritious food.
Registration opens on October 23, 2025 and closes on September 11, 2026. The registration fee is $75 before September 12 and $90 on or after September 12. Team registration is available for groups of 20 or more; organizations are invoiced and provided with a custom registration link so each team member can sign up individually without entering payment information at registration.
Race day items provided to participants include a custom t-shirt, a finisher medal, a race bag of items, and a light breakfast with coffee. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in the men, women, and non-binary categories. A Most Spirited award recognizes creative costumes with bonus points for coordination.
Proceeds from registrations and donations support the Foundation for Fresh Produce and its work to promote healthier eating through fruits and vegetables and to expand related community programs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
