The Race for a Healthier World 5K
The event is a community 5K run/walk held on the Orange County Convention Center campus in Orlando, Florida. The course consists of two laps totaling 5K (3.1 miles) and is organized to raise funds for The Foundation for Fresh Produce.
Race day participants receive a custom t-shirt, a finisher medal, a race bag of items, and a light breakfast with coffee. Proceeds from registrations and donations support programs that aim to increase fruit and vegetable consumption and make fresh, nutritious food more accessible.
Registration opens October 23, 2025 and closes September 11, 2026. Early registration is priced at $75 per registrant before September 12; on or after September 12 the fee is $90 per registrant. Group registration is available for organizations of 20 or more; after invoicing and receipt of payment a custom registration link is provided so each team member can sign up individually. No payment information is required at the individual sign-up stage.
Awards will be given to the top three finishers in the men, women, and non-binary categories. An additional Most Spirited award recognizes creative costumes, with bonus points for coordinated team efforts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
