We Care 5K Run & Walk
Lutheran Counseling Services organizes the We Care 5K on October 10, 2026 in Longwood, Florida. The in person event begins at St. Stephen’s and follows parts of the Seminole Trail before looping back to the church. A virtual 5K option is available for participants who are not located in Orlando.
The event raises funds and awareness for mental health. Lutheran Counseling Services is a community based mental health agency serving Central Florida that provides evidence based counseling regardless of a client’s financial standing. The organization reports increased demand for services and is working to create more appointment availability.
Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome, and groups of family and friends are encouraged to participate together. Event amenities include a post race snack bag, timed results for completion time, and a comfort dog on site.
