The Pumpkin Marathon & Spooky Halloween Challenge
The event takes place on 31 October 2026 at Burroughs Bank, Lightmoor, Telford, TF4 3QS. It is organised by How Hard Can It Be Events and offers the following distances at both the Pumpkin and Spooky events:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
Races are multi-lap and places are limited to 40 entrants for each race. There is a six hour cut off for each race, with the organiser open to discussing longer times if required. Entry fees vary by distance, from around £26 to £42.
Race logistics and support
A well-stocked aid station is provided every mile with water, squash, coke, sweets and other treats. Marshals will be on course to offer support. Fancy dress is encouraged for both events. For the Spooky event, head torches are required. Parking is available within a five minute walk of the start. Age minimums apply by distance: marathon 18+, half marathon 17+, 10K 16+, 5K 15+.
