The Pumpkin Marathon & Spooky Halloween Challenge
The event takes place at Burroughs Bank, Lightmoor, Telford, TF4 3QS on 31 October 2026. It offers a choice of distances held at both the Pumpkin and Spooky events:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
Both events are organised as multi-lap races. Each race has a six hour cut off; organisers may consider longer cut-off times on request. Places are limited to 40 entrants for each race.
There is a well-stocked aid station every mile supplying water, squash, coke, sweets and other treats. Marshals are present along the course. Fancy dress is encouraged for both events. The Spooky event takes place in the evening and participants should use head torches for that event. Race headquarters and the start are at Burroughs Bank, Lightmoor.
