Event details

The Patriot 4.2 Miler is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Newark, DE. The event includes a timed 4.2 mile race and a 1 mile fun walk that is not timed. Purpose and partners

The race is held in honor of a U.S. Air Force captain who supported a 4.2-mile commemorative race and related causes. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of Fusion Foundation, a 501(c)(3) volunteer organization that supports children, young adults, and first responders in Delaware and related local organizations.

Race features and awards

Runners receive a custom bib and a race shirt or women's tank top, and there is a post-race celebration at Klondike Kate's. Awards include overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and top three in each age group by chip time.
