The Patriot 4.2 Miler
The Patriot 4.2 Miler is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Newark, DE (89 Paper Mill Rd, 19711). The event offers a 4.2 mile run and a 1 mile fun walk that is not timed. It is presented as an annual run in honor of a U.S. Air Force captain who supported Pat’s Run.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of Fusion Foundation to support local organizations the honoree cared about. Participants receive a custom bib and an event shirt or women's tank top, and a post-race celebration is held at Klondike Kate's upstairs. Bib pick up is available on race day at Olan Thomas Park.
Awards are given for overall male and female and overall masters male and female, and the top three in each age group. Age groups are 9 and under, 10-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Overall and masters awards are based on gun time; age group awards are based on chip time.
